Christmas

Playing in the snow

Her 1st piano lesson

On Christmas Day, my cousin's little girls, Ashley and Emily (aka the twins) came over. As soon as she saw them, she just gave them lots of hugs and kisses.

Santa

So, Santa made a visit to school for the Christmas party. None of the kids were willing to get close. Even with me holding Haley, she had a good grip on me. So, this was the best we could do...at least he was free (sort of).

Hot coco with Caleb

We didn't have to tell her what to do!

Already loosing teeth!

So, Haley fell as she always does, but cried a little more than normal. So, after consoling and kissing her, it seemed a little odd that she cried as there were no obvious scars....no bleeding, bruising, or swollen things. After we administered the final cure all treatment (elmo), she was making funny noises, so I looked at her mouth and noticed part of her left front tooth is missing! The dentist said it would be fine and may even turn grey but not to worry. I'll try to post some pictures, although it will be in every picture for the next 3/4 years. At least it was not her permanent teeth!

Random stuff

Here are a few random pictures I have intended to post....

Haley in her dress from GG. Thank you GG! She looks so cute :)

The baby had to go potty. It's the only one who has used this potty.

Haley loving her friend Kate (a little too much :)
Kate was a good sport with all the kisses and hugs Haley gave.

Pictures 2

Pictures

Here are some pictures Jerry took this weekend. I think we were all pleased with some of the pictures we got, considering the mood of the shoot :) I really didn't consider her not wanting to cooperate. Thank you Jerry!!!

Helping

This is a video of Haley helping Papa and I rake leaves yesterday... If I had known we would be taking pictures, I would have dressed her a little more appropriately :)

Miscellaneous

I know we haven't posted in a while, so to make up for it, I am posting more pictures than usual :) Sorry about that. We took our first road trip to the metroplex, which went extremely well. Then, Haley got sick, but is better now.

It is so hard to get her to sit still and smile :)
Getting ready for church. I am really glad we took it in front of our recycle pile (which is typically transferred daily to the pile more discretely located in the laundry room :)

Sporting her pooh ("teddy bear") pj's that Aunt Debbie and Uncle Rod got us, while shopping the toys catalog :)

I've been good :)

Bitty Baby

So, Chris and Sue, gave Haley a Halloween and a Berry outfit for her Bitty Baby. I knew she loved her babies, but I didn't realize how much she would love dressing them up, especially with the shoes. There's just something about shoes she loves. Shoes for mommy, shoes for daddy, shoe shoes (for Haley) and now shoes for her baby :) Here's a picture of her and her babies dressed up (with shoes). The Bitty Baby has on both the Halloween and the Berry outfit (under the pumpkin). Thank you Chris and Sue for the outfits!

At School

So, here's a couple pictures from today at school. They had some special Halloween activities that the moms were invited to join. We had a great time, and it was really nice to be a part of what she did at school. Thank you so much Merydwen and Anna for sharing your pictures!

Mi Mi & Jon / Parade 2

1st Parade

So, today we were in our first parade, the Kerr County Fair parade. We walked behing the MOPS float, which won 1st Place in the Non-Profit division! Not too bad for our 1st float ever, although I am not sure if there were any other contestants :)
Caleb (the giraffe) let Haley (the strawberry) ride in his wagon, which went really well. Haley even waved at some of the crowd. I think she had a great time! Below is a couple pictures of the float and Haley in the parade. Maybe I will have some better ones to post later.

Who needs water?

So, the other day Bryan noticed there was a large amount of water coming out of the concrete in the front of our house. So, after 4 hours of doing what plumbers do, including 2 holes to the house, the plumber concluded we have a major leak. Below is a video of Haley enjoying the once small waterfall. It reminded me of what a friend brought up at Bible study the other day. She was talking about the economy and how it was also bad sometime in the 80's (can't remember the date) and how her parents may have struggled, but she had no memory of it. Anyway, as we were stressing about the damage, how much it will cost, etc., it made me smile watching Haley, as it was definitely the higlight of her day!

Sea World again

So, we went to Sea World again, after learning Elmo is making a special Halloween appearance. We still think she's a little young, but she definitely enjoyed the Sesame Street show. Here's a couple of pictures, and an extra one of her painting.

She enjoys painting at school, so I thought I would let her try it at home. I don't think it went so well. She tried to eat the paint and stick the brush in her ear, nose and mouth, as you can tell :)

Our little strawberry

So, for Halloween we're obviously going to be a strawberry. GG helped me make the costume, otherwise I'd still be working on it. Thank you! I just had to take a picture. We still have some finishing touches, but I am really happy with it! And we only spent $8 :)

New wheels

Since Haley loved the car at her school, Papa got her some new wheels. He couldn't wait until Christmas, so she got it the other day. She loves it! I've been hiding it around nap time to avoid the struggle, as she doesn't want to get out of it. She knows it's gone and walks around looking for her "car, car".

Aransas Pass

So, Noni and Popi invited us to join them for the weekend at the coast. We had a great time, and Haley loved the beach. I am not sure what she liked better, trying to leave mom and dad behind, while running to the water, chasing dogs or the birds. The weather was great, and the place we stayed was right on the beach. It was a really nice treat. Thank you Noni and Popi. Here are a few pictures I took, although hopefully I can post some Popi took later.

Mi Mi and Jon

So, here's a picture of Mi Mi's and Granpa Jon's cracker party on the couch.

Feeding the ducks part 2

Feeding the Ducks

We deicded to go to the park today, take a walk and feed the ducks. Haley definitely enjoyed it, as she threw some bread too. Although it didn't really go past her feet, but she tried :) We also saw a snake, which made the trip a little more adventerous for Bryan.

1st Day of School

Each time I have picked up Haley from school she has cried, as she doesn't want to stop playing with this car she drives around. It's a little embarrassing when other children are crying because they want to go home, and mine is because she wants to stay!

Not just for Babies

So, here's a couple of pictures of Haley and some of the different ways she likes to use her stroller. There have been many other things she likes to take for a stroll around the house.

Watch out boys!

So, we went to visit Kristi and Hayden before Kristi went back to work Friday. These are some pictures she took with her new iphone. Thanks for sharing Kristi! We had a great time, and as you can see Haley loved Hayden. She burped him, patted him and gave him some love. Hayden was a good sport about it.
