So, here's a couple pictures from today at school. They had some special Halloween activities that the moms were invited to join. We had a great time, and it was really nice to be a part of what she did at school. Thank you so much Merydwen and Anna for sharing your pictures!

1st Parade
So, today we were in our first parade, the Kerr County Fair parade. We walked behing the MOPS float, which won 1st Place in the Non-Profit division! Not too bad for our 1st float ever, although I am not sure if there were any other contestants :)
Caleb (the giraffe) let Haley (the strawberry) ride in his wagon, which went really well. Haley even waved at some of the crowd. I think she had a great time! Below is a couple pictures of the float and Haley in the parade. Maybe I will have some better ones to post later.

Who needs water?
So, the other day Bryan noticed there was a large amount of water coming out of the concrete in the front of our house. So, after 4 hours of doing what plumbers do, including 2 holes to the house, the plumber concluded we have a major leak. Below is a video of Haley enjoying the once small waterfall. It reminded me of what a friend brought up at Bible study the other day. She was talking about the economy and how it was also bad sometime in the 80's (can't remember the date) and how her parents may have struggled, but she had no memory of it. Anyway, as we were stressing about the damage, how much it will cost, etc., it made me smile watching Haley, as it was definitely the higlight of her day!

New wheels
Since Haley loved the car at her school, Papa got her some new wheels. He couldn't wait until Christmas, so she got it the other day. She loves it! I've been hiding it around nap time to avoid the struggle, as she doesn't want to get out of it. She knows it's gone and walks around looking for her "car, car".
