Why I don't swim in the ocean!!

GiGi, I and the kids took a tour of Jekyll island by carriage, since we haven't done it yet. It was fun, and we were the only ones, so that was nice.

So, we went to the beach with GiGi, and it just happened to be the weekend hurricane Irene, passed us by. Since we missed low tide, I assumed we wouldn't be able to find any sanddollars. I was wrong, we found lots! It was so fun. Most are small, but I'm looking forward to doing some projects with them.

We also found these as well, a large jellyfish, at least 12+ inches long and what looks like it could be a sting ray? This just supports my decision not to swim in the ocean!!!!

We're mobile!

Plantation & St Simons Trolley

The driver said hi, and realized how shy Haley was (not at all), so he asked if she knew anyone who could ring the bell for him. Of course she was happy to! The picture is of her telling the driver and the rest of the bus how old she was :)

The Hazels at an old rice plantation. It was neat to see.

3 Months!

You can tell Holt is trying to grab things now, and already putting them in his mouth. I'm sure they have a little extra flavor from Haley :) Here he is sleeping after working hard to get those toys!

It's already going by so fast!

Gymnastics

Today we went to Gymnastics again. Haley's favorite is the rings. It's really a neat place. They set up all the equipment for little kids and for $6 they can run around and do whatever they want! It's also a great place for me to visit with other moms too :)

Fort Frederica #2 & Swim lessons

So far we have made 2 trips to Fort Frederica. It will be interesting to see how many times we go before we move back to Texas. This time Haley wore the headphones, and I think actually learned something, other than pushing the buttons :)
The other pictures are of Haley's swim lessons. I was worried that she wouldn't be big enough, but she does a great job...on everything except putting her face under water. She's getting to be such a big girl!
