Under the Sea

We went to a fall festival at a local church, and it was so fun. I had another costume for Holt I bought at last year's clearance, but when I found a shark on sale, I couldn't pass it up! It was $6 well spent :) Hopefully Haley won't notice all the chocolate candy is gone (there was only a few little ones :)

Florida pt 2

The main reason we went to Florida was to visit some of our cousins on my dad's side of the family. They were so sweet to have a Texas flag flying for us. Thank you Hodges' for having us, it was so nice to see you all!

Florida pt 1 - Universal

Holt at Universal

Haley's first roller coaster! Anytime she met the height requirement, I would ask if she wanted to ride it. She said yes, but regretted it once we were committed. She was a trooper though, as she would keep trying other rides! I am so proud of her, and a little sad as my baby is getting so big!





Haley's favorite part of Universal was the Dr. Seuss area. It was a little more of her pace. It was so much fun. I had no idea she would be able to ride so many rides. What a big kid!

5 Months!

Why I don't swim in the ocean!!

GiGi, I and the kids took a tour of Jekyll island by carriage, since we haven't done it yet. It was fun, and we were the only ones, so that was nice.

So, we went to the beach with GiGi, and it just happened to be the weekend hurricane Irene, passed us by. Since we missed low tide, I assumed we wouldn't be able to find any sanddollars. I was wrong, we found lots! It was so fun. Most are small, but I'm looking forward to doing some projects with them.


We also found these as well, a large jellyfish, at least 12+ inches long and what looks like it could be a sting ray? This just supports my decision not to swim in the ocean!!!!
