Family Camp

We went to Laity Lodge Family Camp this weekend, out in Leaky. It was so much fun. We all had a great time! Here are a few of the pictures, and I'll post more later.

I was expecting to stay in the cabins, which have bunk beds, like all the other guests, but was pleasently surprised to get to stay here :) Not just because I could sleep next to my husband, but Haley had her own room, so we all got sleep! Definitely a perk of Bryan working for the foundation!

All is well!

I apologize it's been a while since our last post...I had been trying to take more pictures for the blog, but then we got what has been "going around", yuck. Haley had it the worst. She would say, and still does, "I spit on Mommy". I just couldn't believe that with a child vomiting every 7 to 10 minutes, for hours, that the dr just said, it's going around and may last 2-3 days! But thankfully the every 7 to 10 minutes gradually moved to 30 min then 1 hour. After 5 hours of it, she finally got some sleep. All that to say, we are much better now (we - as Dava & I got it too!) I really take it for granted when we are all feeling great. On the positive side, it was a quick way to loose a couple pounds :)

Floor vs Potty

So, last weekend we went to visit the Chiltons. I forgot my camera, so we don't have any pictures to show you, but we had a great time. Haley got to pet some horses and donkeys. Hands down, her favorite part, was going swimming with Miles and Brian C. in the hot tub. She was even talking about it today! I think we need a hot tub and a ranch like that wouldn't hurt :) Thanks for having us!

So, I thought I would give potty training a try. This is our 2nd try. Yesterday, she went tee tee (tt) in the potty 3 times! Although that's because we spent pretty much the whole afternoon in the bathroom on the potty. Surprisingly, she was happy to stay there because of all the fun stuff for her to do, only while on the potty. So, today she went tt 1 time but then the other 3 times were mostly on the floor :) I also tried the cool training pants, not "cool" as in oh those are neat "cool", but they feel cool when they potty. If she felt it, she didn't seem to mind :) So, to sum it up, the progress that we made over 2 days is, we will now wear our big girl panties without fussing and we can hold our tt, until mom puts on the panties :) Here's a picture of our big girl on her potty.

Haley helped scrub the potatoes for dinner. Next time I'll know to put down a towel :)
